You'll learn how to integrate these components to maximize your precision and accuracy while gaining the knowledge needed to continue improving.

October 19, 2025

If you're looking to refine a broad range of shooting skills or revisit key lessons from our HRTC Comp Hunter Course, this clinic might be a great fit for you. Shooters will begin by checking zero, confirming ballistic data, and reviewing the fundamentals of marksmanship in a brief classroom session.

From there, you'll move through the HRTC range complex, where our instructors will provide hands-on coaching as you engage moving targets, shoot from improvised positions, and take on long-range shots. If any deficiencies are identified or if you’d like further clarification on specific topics, our instructors will provide targeted instruction to help you improve.

Required- 100 rounds of match grade ammunition, optic with dialable turrets, rifle mounted bipod, ear and eye protection, ballistic solver app.

Recommended- Optic mounted bubble level, shooting tripod, weather appropriate clothing, food and water for sustainment, note pad and pen.

Moving Target Clinic

June 29, 2025

This HRTC clinic is dedicated to the art of engaging moving targets. While the HRTC Comp Hunter Course introduces shooters to the basics of moving targets, this clinic takes a deeper dive into the principles and techniques needed for successfully hitting a moving target.

Throughout the course, shooters will engage moving targets at varying distances and angles, adapting to changes in speed, stop-and-go patterns, and erratic movement. By the end of the clinic, participants will have a clearer understanding of the adjustments needed to make effective shots in different scenarios, ensuring greater confidence and consistency when engaging moving targets.

Required- 100 rounds of match grade ammunition, optic with dialable turrets, rifle mounted bipod, ear and eye protection, ballistic solver app.

Recommended- Optic mounted bubble level, weather appropriate clothing, food and water for sustainment, note pad and pen.

Positional Shooting / Improvised Shooting Position Clinic

September 28, 2025

This HRTC clinic focuses on positional shooting and improvised shooting positions. Shooters will start by checking zeroes and ballistic data, then reinforcing the fundamentals of marksmanship from prone, sitting, kneeling, and standing positions.

As the clinic progresses, participants will engage targets from 100 to 1,000 yards, applying the principles learned to problem-solve and build stable shooting positions—often from what initially seems like unsuitable terrain. Whether you're a hunter, match shooter, or a professional sniper, you'll gain valuable skills for making effective shots when your final firing position is less than ideal.

Required- 100 rounds of match grade ammunition, optic with dialable turrets, rifle mounted bipod, ear and eye protection, ballistic solver app.

Recommended- Optic mounted bubble level, weather appropriate clothing, food and water for sustainment, note pad and pen, shooting tripod.

Long Range / Wind Clinic

July 20, 2025

This HRTC clinic is dedicated to long-range shooting and making better wind calls. As with any of our clinics, shooters will begin by confirming ballistic data and checking zero at the 100-yard range before moving into a fundamentals of marksmanship refresher.

From there, participants will head to HRTC Range 1A, engaging targets from 400 to 1,000 yards. If you've been to the HRTC Range Complex, you know that Range 1A can produce wind! HRTC instructors will be on hand to provide coaching, spot hits and misses, and guide shooters through necessary corrections. At Range 1A, in-depth ballistics and wind classes will cover key topics such as reading wind as it moves through terrain, estimating wind speed, bullet flight characteristics in wind, adjusting holds for wind, and making effective follow-up shots.

For those looking to push their limits, an optional session at the HRTC ELR Range offers the opportunity to engage targets at distances up to 1,900 yards.

Required- 100 rounds of match grade ammunition, optic with dialable turrets, rifle mounted bipod, ear and eye protection, ballistic solver app.

Recommended- Optic mounted bubble level, weather appropriate clothing, food and water for sustainment, note pad and pen, Kestel type wind meter.
